Dr. Claudia Cuevas-Lou is a board-certified family medicine physician and the founder of Selfistry MD Spa & Aesthetic Medicine, a physician-led medical aesthetics practice in Cutler Bay, Florida. She is eligible in procedural medicine and is currently completing a fellowship in dermatology, bringing an advanced level of clinical skin expertise into the aesthetic space that’s uncommon at most medical spas.
Dr. Cuevas-Lou’s clinical background spans both inpatient and outpatient medicine. She works as a hospitalist, caring for acutely ill patients in the hospital setting, and also practices at B&C Family Practice, where she serves in a supervising physician capacity overseeing nurse practitioners. This breadth of experience — from managing complex, high-acuity cases to long-term primary care relationships — shapes the depth of medical judgment she brings to every treatment plan.
To expand what’s possible for patients, Dr. Cuevas-Lou has partnered with Dr. Urruela, a pain medicine physician, to bring regenerative medicine into the Selfistry offering — extending the practice beyond aesthetics into deeper musculoskeletal and restorative care.
